You send us an outine of what you are looking for. Conference, meeting room, product launch, training, party or anything that needs booking.
We contact you to make sure we have all the details. Then we start contacting venues that we think would suit your requirements. We keep a detailed list of prices, exclusive Focus discounts & availability.
Within 24 hours we send you a proposal with a list of venues that match your brief. We make sure you have all the information you need on each venue. Then the choice is yours, you can either instruct us to book one of the venues we have suggested or we can look for alternatives. We can arrange site inspections or a lunch if you would like to see the short listed venues.
Once you have chosen the final venue we negotiate hard on your behalf making sure you get the best prices and contract terms. We have exclusive deals with many hotel chains and can beat everyone else on price.
Next we sort out all the details with the venue you have chosen. Things like rates, audio visual requirements, catering, accommodation, car parking, activities, transfers or anything that needs booking for your event.

Like all venue finding agencies we get paid a commission by the venues we book.
This must increase the venue rates?
Not at all. We book a LOT of events every year and this gives us the buying power to get you the best rates.
Can I still be involved in the booking process?
Yes you can be involved as much as you wish we are working for you.
Can I visit the venues?
Absolutely, in fact we actively encourage you to experience all the elements of the shortlisted/preferred venues, especially the elements that are particular to your event such as food and an overnight experience. Focus will organise this for you complimentary and if required attend with you to ensure you get the best experience that the venue can offer.
Do you just find venues?
No, we do everything involved in meetings and conferences. We have exclusive rates on audio visual, team building activities, incentive travel & corporate hospitality. We can also manage the event for you.
Once we receive your enquiry
- We will contact you to chat through the details of your event so we know exactly what you are looking for
- We then contact a range of venues in the area you requested and check availability and prices. If you have a venue you use or would like to suggest thats fine
- We then send you a detailed report of venues for you to look over. Including all prices and rates
- When you are happy you short list the venues you would like more information on.
- We can arrange site inspections or a lunch if you would like to see the short listed venues.
- Next we sort out all the details with the venue you have chosen. Things like rates, audio visual requirements, catering, accommodation, car parking, activities, transfers or anything that needs booking for your event
- When you are completely happy we then check over the contract from the venue to make sure everything is in order
